The ERHL is somewhat unique in that we use a player card system.  Registered players must present this card to the officials whenever getting on the ice for an ERHL game.  The general rule is: If a player doesn't have his card he cannot play.   Presenting this card signifies a few things to the on-ice and off-ice officials.

• The Player is a registered member of USA Hockey
• The Player is a registered member of the ERHL
• Card designs signify different skill levels *
• The Player is in good financial standing with Eagles Ice A Rena**
• The Player is not currently suspended and clear to play **

* Type of card is based on what the player states his skill level is.  It is up to the leagues discretion to change a players skill level if needed

**If a player receives a game misconduct or if he is past due in ice fees he will not have his card returned at the end of the game.
